Before I headed off for my holiday in the USA I had a day and night in the city with a good friend. Corina and I spent the afternoon exploring Sydney including one of my favourite things which is to take a Sydney ferry from Circular Quay to Pyrmont. I would recommend this ferry ride to anyone visiting Sydney as you get a great view of the Opera House, Luna Park and the Harbour Bridge.
There is always something different to see and on this day there was an enormous cruise ship moored at Circular Quay. It was like a multi-story apartment block floating on the water, complete with balconies.
No trip to the city is complete without dinner in China Town which is where we ended our evening.
