It was cold and windy but the upside was plenty of parking at the pier. All we wanted was a cup of hot tea but nothing was open. There were a few determined tourists willing to brave the elements to experience Santa Monica Pier and the end of route 66.
I love this place, the colour and the views. There are artists selling their creations and usually plenty of noise coming form the rides. It is a family friendly, fun carnival atmosphere with killer views.
At last we found one shop open and we were able to warm up with a hot tea before heading back to LA.
