In all the times I have been to Los Angeles I have never photogrphed the Hollywood sign or been to Griffith Observatory. This year thanks to feeling a whole lot fitter I decided to hike up to Griffith Observatory. Luckily for me Trish has also been working on her fitness and we could do it together.
I used an app called AllTrails to find where to start our hike and which way to go. I wanted to make sure we didn’t accidentally pick one that was super hard. For anyone who is young and fit and reading this the hike would easy for you. However, I have had a struggle with my health over the last 5 years. Most recently I found out that I had low iron anaemia. After 9 months of medication and consistently working out 3 times a week. Two gym visits and a saturday cycle I have finally started to feel better.
This hike had been a goal for me and I feel l so happy to have achieved it. Trish has had way more health issues than me to overcome so I am especially proud of her for doing this hike.
The view from the top was so worth the effort. The day was a bit gloomy and overcast which was perfect walking weather but not so great for photographing the view. However, it was still a great view of both Los Angeles and the Hollywood sign.
I want to continue to feel active and healthy so I can enjoy more activities like this.
I am grateful to be able to be able to take my camera and photograph the world.

Wow! This is absolutely stunning! Iβm an aspiring photographer and these are the kind of moments that inspire me to jump out of my comfort zone. Cameras are the eye to the world, but the eye of the photographer holds all the power! ππ»β€οΈ
