Nellie’s Lane Branding Shoot

I met Lauren through a mutual friend about a year ago and she told me about the skirts she was developing for real women. We chatted about her vision and I gave her my card and told her to give me a call when she was ready to do her website.

A year on and 2 years in the planning we spent a fun Saturday afternoon creating the image content for her website and socials. I love the idea behind the brand and admire Lauren’s determination to bring her vision to life.

Nellie’s Lane was named after Lauren’s grandmother, Nellie. Lauren’s idea for the skirts came from a frustration of not being about to buy something comfortable and pretty to wear when you are not a size 8 or 10.

She has designed a comfortable, practical and pretty skirt that suits women of all shapes and sizes. These beautifully designed skirts have built in shorts for extra comfort on hot days and pockets!

On the afternoon of the photoshoot Lauren gathered her friends and family to tryout the skirts. There were women from ages 16 to 75 and a range of sizes. Everyone was impressed with how comfortable the skirts were, loving the freedom of being able to sit on the grass in comfort. It was a very hot, humid afternoon and was enjoying not having their legs rub in the heat.

It felt great to be back by the camera and awesome to have Corina along to help and also catch some behind the scene shots with me in action below.

I encourage you to check out Nellie’s Lane and get yourself a beautiful, comfortable skirt while you are there.
